Santos.....

Weekend(zdjecia ponizej) spedzilismy w Santos.To urocze miasteczko w stanie Sao Paulo polozone nad oceanem. Zatrzymalimy sie u dziadkow Daviego- bardzo goscinni i sympatyczni ludzie:)
W sobote wieczorem poszlismy podziwiac panorame miasta - widok przepiekny, zapierajacy dech w piersiach - mozecie to poczuc- dwa zdjecia na samym dole-swiatla miasta odbijajace sie w oceanie- olsniewajace..:)Pozniej poszlismy do jednego z licznych tam ogrodkow restauracyjnych.Kazdy zamowil inna Caipirinie(Caipirinha- tradycyjny napoj alkoholowy - sklad-caxaca(wodka) plus sok owocowy , kazdy z nasz zamowil z innym owocem...

W niedziele rano plaza, wydawalo mi sie ze slonca prawie nie ma, a wieczorem okazalo sie ze niektore czesci ciala mam bardzo czerwone...

Po poludniu pojechalismy wyciagiem(otwartym wyciagiem) na gore (Morro do Voturuá) , zeby podziwiac widoki. Kto mnie zna tez wie, ze boje sie wysokosci, ale przezwyciezylam ten lek. Jak zobaczylam, ze na gore mozna dostac sie tylko wyciagiem to myslalam, ze umre na zawal, wiec powiedzialam, ze nie ma mowy i , ze nie pojade tylko poczekam na dole, ale wtedy wszyscy powiedzieli, ze nie ma wymowek i ze musze jechac, a Lindsey dodala, ze bede z siebie dumna jak pojade...i rzeczywiscie..miala racje, a poza tym naprawde bylo warto...bo widoki byly wspaniale(troche panikowalam w drodze na gore, jak siedzialam na wyciagu, ale tylko troche..)prawda Lindsey;)?




It was the weekend we spent in Santos(the pictures below). It's a lovely town situated at the ocean (in San Paulo State).We stayed at Davi's grandparents' - his grandparents are really nice and hospitable .
On Saturday evening we went to enjoy the panorama of the town - a beautiful view, really breathtaking- you can feel it(just take a look at 2 pictures below)- the lights of the town reflecting in the ocean- stunning...)Then we went to one of the numerous restaurant gardens and everone ordered a different caipirinha (it's a traditional Brazilian alcoholic drink- the main ingredient is caxaca (vodka) and each of us had it with another fruit - strawberry(Lindsey), pineapple(Bruno), kiwi(Davi-well he likes strawberry but Linsdey had already ordered it so he had no choice as everyone had to take a different one) and I took a passion fruit)

On Sunday morning we went to the beach. It seemed to me that there was no sun but in the evening it turned out that some parts of my body were really red ...

In the afternoon we took the chairlift up to the mountain (Morro do Voturuá) in order to enjoy the breathtaking views.Those who know me are aware of the fact that I'm afraid of heights. (however, I managed to overcome that fear). When I saw that the only way to get to the mountain is by chairlift I thought I was going to die of a heart attack so I said 'no way , I'm not going, I'm waiting for you here'. Then everyone said that there were no excuses and that I had to go and Lindsey added that I would be really proud of myself if I went and she was absolutely right ... it was really worth it..:) because the views were amazing..(I was freaking out a little bit on the way to the mountain..but just a little bit..:)right Lindsey:)?
